[Boatanchors] Moisture absorbent packs

Today I was shopping and discovered something that might be of help to some
of you.

When Collins built the PTOs for so many rigs, they placed a pack of moisture
absorbent material inside the case. I have seen others recommend putting
these in ovens for an hour or so at 150 degrees to return the efficiency.

If you need new packs, you can get them for free at any Walmart or store
that stocks chlorine tablets for pools. I have a septic system that uses
those kind of tablets and when I found them the box in front was empty. In
the empty box was a pack of the material marked "Pillow PaK" . I opened a
new box, got the tablets I needed and kept the adsorbent to bring home.

It is in a package about as tall and 1/2 the width of a playing card. Made
by Desiccare, Inc., 1-888-932-0405, 1-800-446-6650.

Hope this helps someone.
