I was recently contacted by a guy in Ohio who wanted to restore a Minerva Tropic
Master WW2 morale receiver. He was mailing a check. Never heard another word.

A follow up note to him was sent. Today he responded and told me that someone in
British Columbia sent him the information by e-mail. Gee, he had just forgotten
to tell me ...

I have all five restoration articles written by Mark Ellis that appeared in five
issues of the 1995 Popular Electronics magazine. These are electrical
restoration, not cosmetic.

I have the actual original schematic. The ones available from Sams and Riders
are 'not' correct! They even show the wrong year of manufacture.

I have the original fact sheet that came with the Minerva Tropic Master WW2
morale receiver. In the for what it is worth department, the original I have is
the only one known to still exist. A very interesting sheet and I have a copy of
it. It is dated June 19, 1945.

Finally, I have the decal that is found on the drop down front door on the
bottom left corner. It is an exact reproduction. The letters "MCA" are in red or
gold, there is no other difference in the two versions of the decal. I have both
available.

This complete package of information and the decal is $17.50 plus one dollar for
postage. It is professionally printed, easy to read, clear details on the
diagrams and sent in a large envelope with a heavy cardboard insert. Hopefully
to prevent the postal system from bending it!

If you reside outside of the USA, please send USA funds. Thank you.

If more than one of you need the information, I can make additional copies. The
decal is available anytime for $2.50 postpaid. Be sure to specify whether you
need the red or gold "MCA" version!

Thank you.
