[Boatanchors] ID'ing a Hammarlund meter

first, thanks to all who assisted in ID'ing the Collins mechanical
filters i inquired about, two weeks ago or so.

what model does this S-meter go to?  very clean front panel and sides;
looks like a 2¼" OD w/ 2" body OD; any help appreciated.

one more question: why, when i go look at a load of "junque", do i try
to save the whole truckload from the dump, instead of just going thru it
and buy the decent items?
