[Boatanchors] Tubes wanted

Worse comes to worse I can probably use the 10 tubes
for all 3 stages. I was trying for varying power
levels starting with the lowest for the crystal
oscillator, the next for the driver, and the highest
powered tube for the final.

A 10 was used for an oscillator during the late 1920s
and all through the 1930s so it should work fine.

Unfortunately, there is no notation at all on the
schematic as to what tube types should be used. Also,
the unit is set up to key the B+ of any of the stages
or all of the stages! The output is fixed tuned
although there is a plate tuning capacitor with a
vernier on it and an mA meter in the final stage.

Although it would be nice to have the old style
envelopes I am not going to be that exact! I do have
brass-based, tipped, 01A tubes, etc., in some of my
early 1920s receivers, but I definitely don't have
them in all of the receivers that I own!

There are some photos of some of my antique/vintage
collection on the K9STH website the URL of which is
listed at the end of this message.

I really need to use a relay keyed by my normal
straight key just to be safe!

Are these the tube types that originally were
installed in this transmitter. If so, your search for
these rare to getting rare tubes for your lighthouse
Service Transmitter may be long and possibly very
expensive. I do not have any of these types in my
69,000 plus tube collection. Dealers are paying $100
and up on the #50 Globes in USED CONDITION. #10 (ST)
$15.00 Used, $25.00 New; #10 Globe $32. Used; 801A
$12. Used; $40 New.
