This is correct.  Amazing how memory can deceive!  I would have bet that 1625's 
were modified because they were cheap, but of course as Glen points out the 807 
COULD NOT be used in a GG circuit.  In fact, with only 5 base pins, there's no 
way the suppressor could be brought out separately!
