[Boatanchors] Cloth Covered Wire

Good Evening to all Members of the various reflectors,from Joe w5jdy.....
For the last several years I have purchase
hookup wire from Antique Electronic Supply in Tempe Arizona.....   The wire
I was purchasing was cloth covered with a lacquer coating and came in 8
different colors 20ga stranded on 50ft spools Model S-W700 series...   I
recently ordered a spool of black wire S-W704 and when I received it it now
has a push back covering and is not lacquer coated...  They said the EPA has
stopped the lacquer coating as hazzardous....   My request is if any readers
have any of the old wire purchased in the past from AES in ANY or ALL
colors,I will gladly purchase it any lengths as I am trying to complete a
long time project and would like the wiring to match... I also would
consider any cloth covered wire,like the wire connecting the electromagnetic
speakers to the chassis in the vintage tube radios 1940's and back...  As
