[Boatanchors] 1625 tube and Octal based metal tubes

One of the first things I remembered as a kid was the pinout of the 6V6, 6K6, 6L6,
6F6 and their kin! Also the other octal crowd that was "close" like the 6J5, 6C5
(just missing screen connections). Older hams at the time were amazed I didn't
remember the old line like the 6C6, 6D6, '57, '58 and that batch of '6 pinners'.
(before my time...ha!)

| Thanks Bill. I never had an exact date, this pins it down.
|
| And thanks to all that pointed out my error in saying the 1625 was an octal.
| :-) Just wanted to see if you were on your toes.
|
| OK, how many of you can call up FROM MEMORY the connections for each and
| every pin of a common tube like a 6V6? With a mind full of such trivia, it's not
| surprising I get it mixed up sometimes.
