Gary Brown's work is excellent, he did an SX-28 transformer for me for a 
while back that turned out nice. Another alternative would be to look for a parts 
set. The HQ series are not noted for transformer failures so there should not 
be a high risk that you would be installing another potential problem for 
later on. Your B+ circuit is not drawing an excessive load is it?
