Hi Brad,
In a way, yes. A lot of the fellows who are using broadcast transmitters on
the ham bands are using them. I have seen them myself in two installations. It
is not unusual to find consoles at hamfests these days, either.
A couple of years ago, I picked one up at the AWA convention in Rochester.
I am saving it for the day when I have room to install a broadcast rig. Mine
is a newer type with the slide type faders. I got the power supply, original
manual and a box of spare faders with it.
If you can get it, grab it. It is worrth something to someone and if you
don't use it, you can always pass it on. It would be a shame to have it wind up
in the great green file or worse, be imploded with the building.
