Gentlemen,
May I remind you that a discussion does not have to contain cheap shots at
others who may disagree with you? So please refrain from doing so and keep the
comments above the belt. Thank you.
There sure are a lot of interpretations of the same electrical principal being
set forth here. As stated earlier by one who posted, most of which are
incorrect. I have encountered this topic on numerous occasions over the past six
years and the result is always the same, almost nobody seems to know, or
understand, the principals upon which it is based. It sure would be helpful if
'somebody' who does understand the topic, and its practical applications, would
write a straight forward explanation in ordinary English, avoiding fancy terms
and confusing technical double-talk, to help us understand the real issues and
apply them to our operating procedures.
Not an easy task, as the confusion and variances in interpretations have
demonstrated, but one that we should all have a clear cut comprehension of, to
exercise good on the air operating skills and practices.
