All flavors of vintage gear are always welcome - if it isn't vacuum, fake a hum!
  	
	
Saturday November 20th for the HCI: Hallicrafters Collectors International,
forty meter Net.	
	
The pre-Net will commence at 12:30 PM EST, (1730 UTC). The Net proper begins at
1:00 PM EST, (1800 UTC). The frequency will be 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks,
mike splatter and the sound of the teenage boy two houses to the east exercising
his four letter word dialogue, when his ten thousand watt per channel car stereo
mysteriously overloads and blows the half dozen twelve inch woofers, crammed
into the trunk like too many greasy sardines in a tin can, apart like an
exploding overinflated paper sack, taking out the windows, trunk lid, roof and
both rear fenders as the raw sonic concussion of that last 20 Hz note puts the
CD player into a low Earth orbit! This car shook the houses in the neighborhood
as it leaped, lurched, hopped and bounced its way past each home causing more
things to shake, rattle and roll off onto the floor, than an old time Jerry Lee
Lewis rock and roll concert! There was a whole lotta shakin' going on there!	
	
So drop on in, tell us your latest great bargain tale, brag without modesty how
you bought that whole ten pound bag of NOS half watt resistors for a quarter,
sell a piece of vintage gear, ask for one you just can not live another weekend
without, complain about propagation, make us all jealous with that news about
the QSL from Pango Pango and make us all despise you as you tell us about that
terrific grilled staked sandwich your XYL just served you! Hope to hear you
then, that is, if I get lucky and that kid's car thunder system has an
unfortunate short and I can live without noise cancelling earplugs again.
