TMC had a manufacturing and/or assembly plant in Ottawa, Canada and provided
equipment to Dep't of National Defense on a regular basis. Lots of it has
been surplused over the years. I own a GPT-750 but there were lots of
PAL-500's and 1K's up here at one time. The air force used FRR-49's as well.
Good stuff, plenty heavy.

and I never saw any TMC equipment ibe used by our service (61-83). I began
screening military R&M, DRMO'S from 1969 thru the present in the areas were
I live and have never seen any of this equipment show up. I'm sure the the
NAVY was the prime user since this equipment offered more ballast than B&W,
HALLICRAFTERS, and HAMMARLUND. I have a few questions.

the subject.
