Obsolete rice boxes dont qualify as Boatachors even if they have tube
finals. That might be why you did not get any reply to your inquiry.
Nice condition is too subjective. Especially when you have to bet that
it works.
Its value is going to depend on how you list it. Working with moneyback
quarantee is going to bring more money than an as-is listing.
You can get an idea as to what to expect by going to the AADE website.
They have a section on high and low resale values for various ham
equipment.
Search under AADE to get the URL.
It being part of an estate sale does not help you. Most of us realise
that estate sale items have already been picked over by surviving family
members and their friends. If they did not consider the item worth
keeping, potential buyers might be inclined to consider it not worth
buying.
You are also faced with a very limited market. People who buy rice
boxes do so because new ones have a reliability that is supported by
factory warrantee. Such folks are not given to investing in orphaned
equipment of questionable condition.
