As always, all brands of vintage gear are welcome - (If it isn't vacuum, Hum and
fake it!)
Please take a few minutes on Sunday May 30th to remember what the real reason
for Memorial Day is. Then before or after you stuff your face with cookout
delights, please join us for the HCi 20 meter Net.
The pre-Net will commence at 12:45 PM EDT, (1645 UTC). I will be on about 12:20
PM EDT, (1620 UTC) trying to load up my plates, but not with anything edible! If
you happen to be in the area, stop by and we can share some vintage tales. The
Net proper will start at 1:15 PM EDT, (1715 UTC). The frequency will be 14.293
MHz usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the pungent acrid scent of
scorched buns from my neighbor's anatomy as a result of one too many 'cold ones'
and then plugging the tanning bed into the 220 outlet!
I hope to hear many of you tomorrow, so be there and help me keep the static
crashes company. They are forecasting rain here in MI again tomorrow afternoon,
so along with those wonders that still go glow in the dark, bring me some D cell
batteries! No, the blind dude does not need them for a flashlight, I need them
to power the air compressor on the self-inflating raft! All this water cold give
the term "log" a new meaning!
