[Boatanchors] BAMA Manuals on Ebay

I guess my only complaint is that if you know that they are available on
BAMA for free and you avoid saying so in your advertising then what you
are doing is immoral even if not illegal.

I sell a CD that is made up of NOAA marine charts, 1874 of them. It
took me weeks to download them all so I sell the service of my
downloading. BUT........I make it clear in my advertising, and even
give the URL, that they are available FREE on the internet. Since there
are 1874 of them, most people would rather pay me $20 than spend a week
downloading. I know that so I am glad to tell them where and how to
download them in my advertising. I am performing a service, but I am
also honest enough to tell the buyer that if he wants to do the
downloading himself he can and I tell him where to go to get it.

Anyone who hides these facts from a customer is doing so because he
realizes that his labor is not worth what he is charging. It may not be
illegal but it surely is IMMORAL.
