Groups,

Several of you have come back with indirect dating to 1965 by way of when the 
SAMS folder covering it was published.  However, one listed the models 
covered in Folder 745, and the pertinent one was RFD11V.  I didn't give the complete 
nomenclature (OK, Bill, wrist out in slapping position) which is RFD11A.  I 
didn't mention the "A" because according to the sticker on the rear cover, "A" 
= blue and "B" = white case.

Now, does that change anything?  Or did RCA take a leaf out of DOD's play 
book current in the 60's and later and use "V" as DOD used "(V)" to mean variable 
configurations?  If they did, I'll bet RFD11VX would be the 220 VAC model.
