[Boatanchors] National SW-3 screen resistor

Hi Al,
I have never seen an original DC SW-3 schematic without a disconnect.
I have a National brochure picture of the DC SW-3 showing the toggle switch.
Vic said he has the front hole. I think Vic's might have been user enlarged
because he said it doesn't look factory.
Does your DC SW-3 have the chassis stamped with the tubes 236 and 237?
There is evidence that the SW-3 was also manufactured for commercial
applications and this might account for the variations.
These posts have rejuvenated my interest to finish some 40 band-spread coil
sets.
The set is quite a performer on 80m cw. Even 75m ssb.
When Radio Shack gave customers a free battery each month, I ran it on
battery power. (The wife and kid also had RS battery club cards to help the
cause :-)
