[Boatanchors] National SW-3 screen resistor

I'll try to remember to get you this information tonight Vic.  I have =
the resistor values of the various taps. =20

That resistor was probably removed because it was shot.  My =
understanding from my own experience and that of others far more =
experienced than me,  is that the odds are very high that at least one =
section of the resistor will be bad.  I may have 1 SW-3 with a =
functional resistor and another 3 that are bad.  On one SW-3, one of the =
taps had opened up and so I simply soldered a correct value tiny power =
resistor across the tap, which then 'reactivated' the rest of the taps =
as well. =20

If you can even find a bad SW-3, still buy it, install it, then hide the =
new onces under it, or fix the bad tap(s).  That resistor is probably =
visible in one of my SW-3 photo's on my website.
