Matt,
CY-146 is actually the nomenclature of the chest. The nomenclature of the
test set, unless I'm having a senior moment this morning, is AN/ARM-1. The
AN/ARC-3 (and it's follow-ons -36 and -49) are not particularly popular sets but
every once in a while someone will pop up looking for pieces, either a radio
collector or an airplane restorer.
If no one else speaks up for it, contact me off list.

I came across on old CY-146 test kit for an Army ARC-3 radio. It has a few
of its original components like the control box, the main power supply
apparatus and a few cables and accessories, but its missing most of the
original contents. The stuff that's there looks pretty beat up and the case
is somewhat rusted. Before I waste anyone's time with details about this,
is there anyone out there who wants to know more about it and is interested
in it? Keep in mind, this things weighs a ton (figuratively). Shipping for
it would be a fair amount of cash. If this is a real find-of-a-lifetime for
someone, let me know. Thanks.
