[Boatanchors] Microphone recommendation

Hello all..... Would appreciate a recommendation (or two) for a proper =
desk mic to use with a Johnson Valiant AM transmitter. Something besides =
a D-104 crystal mic. I guess I just don't like the lollypop look, hi, =
