Hi Mike,
yes I have received some replies and I have found a web page where are
published info on how to build a standardized coil
(http://home.online.no/~la8ak/m1.htm).
I don't need an absolute accuracy: just a comparative indication is quite
enough for me.

Did anyone get back to you on this?
Can help with a spec sheet and drawing (Heath) on the item.
I used a 1% standard from my junk box to set it up. Not the same
as provided by the QM 1 though. Believe it should be 100 uh
value from memory and it's a PI Wound nightmare to replicate.
