I would "bet" that it is for some of the r.f. high
power sources that operate on 13.560 MHz just like the
old diathermy machines. I have one of the amplifiers
sitting here waiting to be converted to a linear for
20, 17, 15, 12, and 10. It has an 8877 in the final
and is built like the well known brick outhouse! It
weighs in at over 300 pounds (including power supply)
and is in a rack cabinet that is about 2 feet square
by 48 inches tall!
