Greg,
I can't give you any "technical" info but I wore that exact type of headset
for YEARS
in the USAFSS. We were issued the headphones (individually) and took them
to and
from the site. There is a long extension cord (10 feet 6 inches) CD-307A
that remained
"on site". If your headsets are "stock" they probably have a red, male plug
PJ-054R that
plugs into the CD-307A (JJ-026). They are fantastic headsets but they are
heavy and hot.
Practically indestructible. I've seen them thrown across the room, or
thrown hard on
a cement floor and they "kept on tickin". The only thing we ever had to
replace were
the "muffs" which can look pretty nasty after months of sweat and natural
oil off one's
skin gets soaked up, hi. I've seen some of those muffs that I wouldn't want
to touch
with a "ten foot pole".
Hope you enjoy them! You have a piece of communications history, for sure.
Tony, W4FOA

Hi:
Went to the local flea market today and came back with an interesting pair
of headphones from yonder times.
Can anyone help me identify them? Any electrical data will be helpful.
Here is data I found on them:
Pads are marked: NAF 48490-1
Headband is marked: HB7
Receivers are marked: ANB-H-1

Thanks for your help.
