Good day Gentlemen,
I would like to share something with you that I think might be worthwhile considering.

I recently have had a need for a cabinet that would take 19 inch panels and be cosmetically acceptable to visitors to the shack as well as being able to be worked on fairly easily.
I searched through the usual catalogues from the suppliers of such cabinets and decided that I could not raise the bank loan necessary to purcahse one through those outlets.
The 19 inch panels had to fit into about a thirty inch aperture( they are an HF linear) and the presentation was important to me.

Now I should state straight away that I am resident in the UK and I have very little knowlege of what consumer goods are like in the United States as far as dimensions go.

While making a cup of coffee yesterday, the inside of our domestic refrigerator looked as though it would accept a 19 inch panel and the whole cabinet fired my imagination and I began by measuring the internal width available. It's 19 inches dead on!!

Now I might be wildly wrong, if so I apologise, but if the exported versions are the same then there is a chance that suitable 19 inch cabinets are available around the world just for the simple act of fitting two rightangle strips inside to take the panel fixing holes and screws.
Yes, I know, "the "Limey" has really flipped this time I can hear you all saying, but stay, have you considered that if this dimension thing works then we have a lot of suitable cabinets at our fingertips that will have a decent size (I am talking about the type that fit under the work surface in a kitchen not the big chest ones) and can be painted to what ever colour you like with a good surface to work on and whats more they have a door on the front that may be retained or modified with plexiglass windows as you think fit.

When you acquire your fridge (not the one that the XYL is using ! ) also be aware that the "works" are a compressor and this is a very good answer to the need for compressing air for spraying. Be very careful how you get rid of the gas contents in the system though, it is illegal here to release it to atmosphere due to the promotion of the 'greenhouse' effect.

Just a few thoughts, thanks for letting me take some of your time and space on the reflector.
All good wishes,

Clive GW3WEQ
