Hi All,

Back prior to WW2, the CW copying champion was T. L. McElroy who held the
title for several years as I recollect....I don't remember the speed but
think it was
on the order of something in the low 80's WPM....
Incidentally, if you feel you are not copying CW as well as you feel you
should,
are you using earphones? Copying by loudspeaker gives problems, the room
acoustics - sound reflected from hard surfaces like walls, floor & ceiling
arriving
at the ears not exactly in  phase and with a difference in the two ears....
Try using earphones - you'll like hearing the code correctly!!!!
