receiver?
Many thanks to all who answered my question. What prompted it was the
British Scientific Intelligence activity during WW II, in which the
German EBL 1 receiver was analyzed and found to be more sensitive that
it needed to be, which led R.V. Jones to start looking for the beams in
the so called "Battle of the beams" in which radio beams were sent from
stations in continental Europe over England and the Luftwaffe pilots
flew the beam until they hit the cross beams.
The EbL 1 was "more sensitive than it needed to be" which started me
wondering how this was determined.
I am on the verge of getting an almost complete FUG 10 set up and am
looking for an S10L transmitter and an EbL 1 set.
Thanks to all again,
Bill Howard
