[Boatanchors] FS dirty Drake 2-B

For sale: very dirty Drake 2-B,,, chassis corroded  (rusted?) along the 
bottom, lots and lots of corrosion and dirt, not all can be  easily cleaned up. It 
will never be a super clean radio, because of the dirty chassis.  Black case 
has been repainted,  it looks like, and even it is rusty   on the inside. Looks 
like maybe the thing  got wet at some time and sat with moisture along the 
bottom rails. ?  Regular crystal pack, plus  30M and a short wave crystal. Needs 
alignment, I think as it hears on 80-40, 30, 10, but not on 15-20 meters.  
Comes with what looks like a home brew crystal calibrator. 
 This radio can be made to hear well, is a good  radio to listen with, but 
will never be collector quality because of the rusty  bottom chassis rails. 
Sold as described,  $100,  plus shipping, still a bargain for a 2-B. Just  
doesn't have a  pretty   copper chassis. 
I bought it from a guy in FL whom we have all heard of, who described it as 
"excellent"  when I bought it. Excellent it is not.  Works though!
