Eugene,
I concur with the previous replies and only want to add that one of the best
things about owning a 100V/200V (aside from admiring its excellent engineering
and operation) is knowing that Nick Tusa, K5EF, is out there. He has taken
it upon himself, as a labor of love, to learn as much as possible about CE
products (and the flagship 100V/200V's in particular), repair and restore them,
keep a reasonable supply of parts (and reverse engineer/commission the
manufacture of some which are prone to failure such as the vox relay coil), and even
maintain a relationship with CE's founder. Further, he is very generous with
his time to answer emailed technical questions.
I have done virtually everything that he suggests on his website to my 100V,
with great results. His 'site is a "must read" for anyone who owns, or
contemplates owning, a 100V.
