     You can so this if you wish, but a service bulletin from Hammarlund 
had the service depots
remove them because they were holding moisture in the capacitors and 
causing deterioration.
None of the sets that I send out after repair/rebuild have them and I've 
had to replace capacitors
because they were all pitted and corroded.
