I'm restoring my 1941 Meissner Deluxe Signal Shifter and just scanned the
dial scale in case I want to make a new one. No one had ever marked on it, so
other than yellowing with age it is a good example of its type. Anyone need a
copy to make a new dial for their Signal Shifter?
So far my repairs have resulted in a functional transmitter. It still needs
new power supply caps - they're getting hot! - but it is making ten watts
output on 40m and keys great. Thanks to eBay I've got coils that cover 40m, 30m,
and 20m - should be fun QRP rig.
