You bring up a good point. I think the balun and/or choke are subject to
heating with max power levels. I frequently run legal limit on SSB, but
generally don't run more than 100W on AM. I do recall their catalog & web
page have some verbiage on "continuous duty" modes such as RTTY, etc. 300W
of AM doesn't sound too threatening, but I suppose the level of modulation
is the unknown....those with Class E modulators and 130% modulation should
probably go QRP...
