[Boatanchors] Testing a transmitter

Thanks to all who responded to my question about testing a transmitter.
Some suggested that I be more specific. Here goes: I am trying to
demonstrate that a WW II German W.S. 30 Transmitter is really working. I
have it connected to the dynamotor and powered by a small 12 volt
motorcycle battery. Switching the transmitter to the transmit positions
starts the dynamotor running but that just makes noise. I am thinking
that the light bulb connected to the antenna will probably be the best
solution.

The same holds true for the W.S. 10 Transmitter. Unless some one has
experience with these transmitters and knows a better way.
