Re William Howard

I just finished 'bench testing' the Radio Shack RC Tiger Tank being closed out
for $34.95 This little fellow is very authentic! Comes with a charging base (6
AA cells) that is a very nice display stand that is representative of the
country from which this Tank originated. There is also a plastic mirror you can
park the Tank on for display reasons.

The remote take a single 9 VDC battery. Charging time is about 3.5 minutes.

There are three operating frequencies you can select from. Hence you can have
your own fleet of Tiger Tanks moving in unison or independently. The Tiger Tank
moves forward or backward, and at quite a rapid rate too! It turns on the tracks
right or left. The cannon turret swivels in either direction. There are fire
buttons for either a machine gun or the cannon, with authentic audio too! Even a
LED that simulates fire from the cannon barrel and the Tank actually recoils
from the gun being fired! Quite impressive, indeed.

My almost thirteen year old Grandson, Brandon, thought it was too small, should
be bigger for the price. After I heard this for the third time, I was getting
annoyed. Not that I have a thing to do with him being a little spoiled, of
course. (guilty smirk) So I told him if he complained about it one more time, I
was keeping it to myself. Boy did that shut him up! Ha. Ha.

If you enjoy this type of historic 'toy', better hurry to RS before they are
long gone! And before you ask, yes I bought a second one, for the grandson. I
kept the first one for me!

If anyone has the Patton Tank, or an extra one, I will swap one of these for it.
