The second annual hamfest for the Irving, Texas, amateur radio club is
to be held on March 13, 2004, for all who might be looking for some
more boatanchors for their collections, or, for anyone who may be
wanting to put some back into circulation.

My first attempt at getting this message posted was a failure. I
must have used some characters, or something, that the web's
acceptance criteria didn't like. I apologize, whatever the cause. No
problem or harm was intended. I checked with the recommended
FACs regarding message protocol, and I did not detect any FAC that
I believe might have caused rejection of my message.

So, if I can phrase the words acceptably, I would like to let all
boatanchor
aficionados know of the upcoming annual hamfest in the DFW area, at
Irving, Texas. Full details can be found on the Irving Amateur Radio
Club's
web page at irvingarc.org. A link is provided for access to the hamfest
information. Our first hamfest, last year, was a huge success - much
greater than anyone expected. This year, we expect to have many more
boatanchors, so we heartily invite you all to come visit and enjoy the
festivities.

If this posting does make it, and if anyone wants additional
information,
you can e-mail me. Please check the call letter lookups for my address.
I hope to see you in Irving for the hamfest.
