On Saturday February 14th the call signs of all who check in will be put into a
large red Valentines Day heart shaped box of assorted chocolates, previously
emptied by unnamed parties, and one will be drawn out and the winner announced
on Sunday February 15th. The prize? You will have to be there on Saturday
February 14th to find out!	
	
Meanwhile, back on the ranch style house, the Saturday February 7th HCI 40 meter
Net will be held at 12:45 PM EST, (1745 UTC) for the pre-Net and then the Net
proper at 1:00 PM EST, (1800 UTC). The frequency will be 7.280 Mhz lsb +/- for
key clicks, mike splatter and the sound of the ARRL cash registers going
KaChingA Ling! as they have visions of children mailing in their 'state'
quarters, four by four, to get their very own copy of the petition to allow
cereal makers in Battle Creek, MI to include an entry level Ham license in every
box of sugared cereal sold to parents of any child conceived within the
continental United States or any of the states beyond said boundaries or any USA
territory or any air space above said land masses or parts thereof. And you
thought that 'robbing the cradle' only applied to balding males dating teenage
girls!
