[Boatanchors] Adjust-A-Volt replacement 'brush' ?

Hi,

Still working on this 1-KW transmitter.  I've found
that one of the input variac's, an Adjust-A-Volt model
500BU has a problem.  The brush piece is worn down
or broken off so that it only contacts the coil
on part of the rotation.  

The brush-piece is fixed in a brass block
which is in a spring loaded mounting.  Any ideas
on how to repair or replace this?
