Ray,
The keying for the T4 series transmitters is found on the AC4 power supply. 
I think it was labled VOX.  It is usually a strange, unobtainium 2 pin plug. 
You can either "manufacture" a plug as many have, or replace it with an RCA 
jack, if you can find one of the old ones with a round bakelite base, you 
can drill the bakelite, mount it, and have a reversable mod if you want to 
do that.
