Hello and thank you for your reply.
Yes: maybe it is an half wave rectifier mercury vapor filled.
Aesthetically it shows a 4 pin base (larger than UX4) and a beautiful
graphite anode.
The manufacturer is Cetron and the manufacturing year is 1987.
I would like to contemplate a possible use.
Can you please tell me the url of the web where you have found its
datasheet?
Meanwhile, I have a doubt about the prefix and suffix utilized in tube
coding...
Do you know the meaning, or know were to see on rhe web, of "JAN", "A",
"WA", "GY", "GBY", "GTA", "GTB"... words?
Particularly I don't know the technical specifications change between them,
as MTBF or other.
Have a nice day,
Luca.

Hello Luca,
I find a NSN 5960-00-296-9997 for a glass envelope 576A Electron Tube. It
is listed as a CLIPPER DIODE. I have not located a Physical Discription,
Function or Characteristics for the 576 as of now.
I found a data sheet on the 575A on the web, which is a MERCURY VAPOR 1/2
WAVE RECTIFIER.
The FED LOG only shows UNITED ELECTRONIC CO., NEWARK, NEW JERSEY as
providing this tube to the U.S. Government. The Ministry of Defense in U.K.
has this valve identified as a CV-5150.
Do you have a manufacturer name or a physicals discription?
The tube references that I have looked at so far ONLY show the 575 and then
jumps to 577.
