One minor correction or technically I guess addition (since an air operated 
vacuum pump is still a vacuum pump) to the post that prompted me to start 
looking for a good desoldering station - not all Hakko models come equipped with 
electrically operated vacuum pumps. The Hakko 473 mentioned in one of today's 
posts, as well as the 471, do not. They require shop air. The 470 (gun) and 472 
(pencil) do. Or at least that's what it says if you dig deeply enough into the 
Hakko site. Thought I would mention this before someone jumps on a good buy 
on a 471 or 473 and then discovers that they have to buy an air compressor in 
order to use them. :-)
