Hi Jim
I have the Hakko 808 and love it. It turns desoldering
into a one handed operation rather then useing a wick
or pump which can be hard to use with two hands At
work we use Hakko 472? and others which are more
geared for production work but for me the 808 is just
as good for low volume work (boatanchors!) Weller also
makes one (SD100?)but I like the Hakko better. It
turns out to one of those things that are a little
expensive to buy but use it forever and never regret
it
