What about a token fee for hosting - say $5-10/yr?
I would certainly expect to pay for hosting.

I realize we're used to getting things for `free' here but it's not like
Mr. Waller has hardware and bandwidth leaking from his person.

I suppose the most `internet-friendly' way to do this would be exactly
as it's being done - to ask for donations.  That means it's time for us
to step up to the plate  [dammit, that's the second sports metaphor I've
used this year].

I'm not exactly rolling in cash, but I'm going to donate.  I've picked
up an incredible amount of information and met some really nice people
(and I still don't have my license).
