[Boatanchors] Tracing serials numbers

Greetings;

I have two RCA Radiomarine receivers, an AR-8510 and an AR-8516 
(FANTASTIC receiver, especially on CW).

They were both removed from the same vessel when it was scrapped.

Since I purchased these long after the vessel was scrapped, I have no 
way of knowing which ship they were on.

Does anyone on the list know a way to match the serial numbers to the 
vessel to which these radios were assigned?
