It would be good to know how much is needed to be raised to improve the performance. We could all send in $1 or $5 but if he needs $50,000 then our contributions might not amount to enough to make the required improvements. Afterall, not every $1 contributed will give $1 of performance increase. There must be a certain minimum capital investment required.
It would be good to know what improvements the webmaster thinks need to accomplished (more hardware, more bandwidth, change routers, etc) and then the costs to do them. That way we can all have the right expectations.
I can tell you that I get very excited when doing a google search having found many pages matching my interests and then very dissapointed when those pages are located on qsl.net and can't be retrieved...I think if I had a website on qsl I would be very dissapointed in the response time.
