[Boatanchors] Re Building Your Own Headphones

Have any of the older Hams or radio hobbyists ever constructed a pair of
headphones such as were built to be used with the Foxhole radio of WW2? If so,
could somebody please provide a parts list and construction instructions?   	
	
There is an elderly Ham here who is still active at age 89 who built a pair he
used with a modified Foxhle crystal RX, but he is not sure exactly how he did it
and would like a refresher course. Anyone?
