[Boatanchors] That "auction place"

It seems like the never ending dispute between the true aficionados of a
hobby and those more interested in swapping, trading and perhaps even making
profits will never end. For long time hams and lovers of vintage equipment, such
as myself, it is such a pleasure to be a member of this list where I am not
barraged with references to "the auction site." I use "the auction site," but I
go there when I want and need no prompts on a technical/informational list
like this one.
Please, lovers of "the auction site," use it often and truly enjoy the
selling and bidding fun to your heart's content. But leave it over there. If you
prefer to sell gear on a list like this to fellow aficionados, then do that.
Or offer the gear here and if no one is interested, take it over there. Just
don't combine the two efforts. It takes the fun out of a list like this for
guys like me who haven't prioritized the buy/sell/swap portion of the hobby as
highly as yourselves.
Thanks and 73,
Jim W9TM
