Eureka! You gave me the answer and it was under my nose the whole time!
I also have the Radio buyers guide from 1945, and darn if the part I wanted
to look up is also the one I need - utc S-34 (5 / 25 HY swinging choke @ 300
ma.)
That choke was saved from a trash can at some hamfest a few years ago. And
it is exactly what is called for in the power supply for putting my TBW
transmitter on the air.
