[Boatanchors] MC Jones Wattmeter/VSWR question

I have a question on the MC Jones Wattmeter/VSWR indicator/probe
Model 251N1 and 252N1. This is a different unit then the 262 posted at =
BAMA. The 251is currently wired up to my Heathkit Marauder/ Halli SX 73 =
main gun.  The Jones meters are very high quality construction and read =
power accurately after calibration.  From the late forties or early =
50's.
How in the heck do you read reverse VSWR?
There is no forward/reverse switch anywhere only VSWR set and that =
functions seems to work. Did I miss something in the developement of the =
table top VSWR indicator?
I went looking for a reverse switch cleverly hidden away but   there  =
just isn't any. So what's left? reverse the sensor box?
Sure could use an answer to this one. A manual would probably put me on =
cloud 9!
