[Boatanchors] power plug problem

Thanks Clive. I took the suggestions I received and it seems to be
fine now. I used some 1,1,1 trichlor and cleaned the contacts, gave a
small twist on the male pins, and used a jewelers screwdriver to pinch
the female contacts together in the plug. Those contacts were
unmoveable until I popped them loose with the screwdriver. It was like
they had been subjected to some chemical or contaminent that glued
them to the phenolic connector base. It fits rather well now and makes
a good connection.
Thanks again to all.

| Good evening Sir,
| In case any of the suggestions don't work, I may well have a
replacement for the connector you are having problems with.
| If it DOES NOT come up to standard satisfactorily, drop me an e mail
and I will try to find one for you. At present I am clearing a silent
key estate and there are mountains of such things that will be junked
unless a home is found for them
| kindest regards and all good wishes from the UK.
