Greetings to the list,
I never thought I would see the day when I had a radio heavier than my
R390A but I am the new caretaker for a CFT46154-A. I applied 200V B+ and
6.3v to the heaters and this 15-600kc TRF beastie came to life. The
previous owner lived in a noisy location so all he could listen to was
static and heterodyne. With almost no antenna and workshop fluorescent
lights nearby I was able to copy 2 low end BCB stations and some nearby
beacons. It has a wonderful B+ supply meter on the panel. I've found a
few pics on the web of similar units. This one has a tag telling me that
Field Change #3 was done to the unit. Any additional info I could get
would be greatly appreciated. I looked on BAMA for the manual but either
missed it or it's not there. Can any one help here?
