Duane, I tried to solder leads onto a battery once, Lithium I'm not sure. The end result here was that the heat on the battery from the iron caused the metal cap to disengage from the internal battery material rendering the battery useless for any output voltage. This may bring your total investment up to $15.00 by the time you get the second battery with the leads! Bob
